"Barn Burning"- As you read this story, pay attention to the details. Annotate the text, looking for literary devices and try to figure out the theme as you read. Try to draw connections between the style Faulkner uses in “A Rose for Emily” and “Barn Burning.” Remember this story deals with the lower class Whites in the South. Be ready to discuss the story in class tomorrow.
